Mumbai: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan on Wednesday said he had helped clear outstanding loans of over 2,000 farmers from Bihar. The 76-year-old actor took to his personal blog to share the news. He said he was on his way to honour another promise to assist the martyr families of the Pulwama terror attack. Bachchan had earlier supported 1,398 farmers from Uttar Pradesh and 350 from Maharashtra by paying off their loans. PTI
Inmates turn RJs, run FM radio stations
Hyderabad: From enabling prisoners to explore their creativity and providing them entertainment, the Telengana Prisons Department has started in-house FM Radio facility at jails across the state, where inmates don the role of radio jockeys. “Our main aim is their reformation and rehabilitation,” DG (Prisons) VK Singh said.
