He said the new mining policy had been framed to ensure the easy availability of sand and gravel to the people at reasonable rates.
Mittal said the state government had decided to involve itself in the mining process, keeping in view the problems being faced by the people in procuring sand and gravel. He claimed that the public would get much relief after the implementation of the new policy.
He said the staff for the mining process would be arranged from various departments, adding that the price list pertaining to various charges would be displayed at the mining sites.
