2015 could possibly be the year where we expect some of Bollywood’s A-list stars to take leaps of faith not just in their films, but in their personal lives as well.
So, while Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif may claim that marriage is not on their mind at the moment, at this stage it seems nothing more than a formality – They’ve already acquired a fabulous apartment in Mumbai and recently split their Christmas and New Year holidays between families and continents.
Cricketer Virat Kohli and actress Anushka Sharma, who once guarded their relationship closely, have now thrown caution to the wind with their public displays of affection and one wonders if a more formal announcement is around the corner.
2015 is all set to be a big year for Anushka professionally as well. Besides Bombay Velvet and her maiden production NH10, the actress will also share screen space with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for the very first time in filmmaker Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
Two directors that we expect to take the lead in 2015 are Imtiaz Ali with Tamasha and Abhishek kapoor with Fitoor. After Kai Po Che Abhishek Kapoor has kept a rather low profile, but we certainly have Great Expectations for more reasons than one from his adaptation of Charles Dickens’ novel. Meanwhile, Tamasha will see Imtiaz Ali join forces with his muse Ranbir Kapoor after Rockstar and that is certainly something to look forward to.
