* Sukhbir has caused constitutional crisis – Bajwa

Chandigarh, In a statement issued here today, S. Partap Singh Bajwa, President PPCC asked Sh. Narendra Modi to drop Mrs Harsimrat Badal from the Cabinet immediately. Bajwa reminded Modi that S. Sukhbir Singh Badal, who is husband of Mrs Harsimrat Kaur Badal, is issuing secessionist statements and instigating people to protest against BSF at the border. He called upon Congressmen to prepare for Vidhan sabha polls which can happen any time.
Bajwa said “this action of Sukhbir Badal has caused a Constitutional Crisis because the BSF is under Union Home Minister and he is a State Home Minister. This crisis has brought Union and the State Government into direct conflict which requires immediate solution by dismissing Punjab Government and dropping Mrs Harsimrat Badal before 5th Januray 2014” .
He said that it is not at all justified to keep Mrs Badal in the cabinet keeping in view of the flaring situation caused by such anti national stand and statement by her husband who is Deputy CM cum Home Minister of Punjab. Mr Bajwa said that this seditious call of the Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal to people of Punjab to gather at the international border for dharna against BSF is intended to create to public disorder and incite violence.
He also suggested to Mr Modi that keeping in view the situation caused by the highly confrontationist stand of BJP and SAD in this border state, it is in the in the interest of National Security to with draw BJP from this alliance and go for a fresh mandate.
Looking at the facts and the fast changing political circumstances, he asked his party cadre to get prepared for Vidhan Sabha Polls in very near future. The current dynamics in the political scenario will attract imposition of Presidents rule and this unholy alliance of BJP and SAD will break any moment. He said that Congress will come to power as people of Punjab are fed up with the mis-governance, totally failed administrative machinery, totally collapsed law and order, high handedness of the Akali jathedars & halqa incharges of Badal Government. He predicted total rout of SAD and BJP due to anger among people of Punjab. He said that people will never forgive the SAD and BJP for spreading drugs like virus in Punjab which has virtually wiped out a generation.
