Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, August 23: A delegation of the Akali Dal MLAs today met Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Rana KP Singh on the issue of privilege motion relating to the leakage of report of Justice Ranjit Singh panel report on sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib.
The delegation was led by former minister Bikram Singh Majithia.
Later talking to the media persons, he said the Akali Dal had earlier demanded that the probe be conducted by a sitting Supreme Court judge.
He reiterated that his party had already rejected this report that had now been leaked by Justice Ranjit Singh himself.
