Amritsar, The drugs narrative in Punjab today took a dramatic turn as controversial former Moga SSP Raj Jit Singh facing probe today surfaced in Amritsar and released a video saying he was not absconding and surrender his passport to Inspector General of Police Jatinder Singh Aulakh (Headquarters) at police headquarters in Chandigarh.
He asserted he was innocent and the case against him was one sided. He maintained he would not like to go into details as the case was sub-judice with next hearing in Punjab and Haryana High Court on July 25.
It may be mentioned that the Punjab police had issued look out notice for him yesterday.
He said he was in Amritsar to pay obeisance at the Golden Temple and Gurdwara Shaheedan as part of his monthly routine.
