Wynne, Ford and Horwath enter second week of Ontario election campaign

TORONTO — All three main political party leaders will hit the road again today as they enter the second week of the Ontario election campaign.

Liberal Party Leader Kathleen Wynne will start the day with an announcement in Toronto at the Finishing Trades Institute of Ontario before she heads to the Waterloo Region for two more campaign events.

Progressive Conservative Leader Doug Ford, who took a break from campaigning Sunday, will kick off the day with an announcement at the Mariott On The Falls hotel in Niagara Falls, Ont.

He will next tour the Stanpac manufacturing plant in Smithville, Ont., and then hold a meet and greet in St. Catharines, Ont., before heading back to Niagara Falls for an evening rally.

NDP Leader Andrea Horwath is expected to make a health-care announcement this morning in Brampton, Ont., and wrap up the day in Sarnia, Ont., with a town hall meeting.

At campaign events on Sunday, both Wynne and Horwath refused to commit to the possibility of joining forces to form a coalition government should the Conservatives win a minority in the June 7 election.
