Sacrilege cases: Justice Ranjit Singh (retd) visits Sangrur villages

Sangrur, April 18

The Justice Ranjit Singh Commission of Inquiry constituted by the Punjab Government to inquire into sacrilege cases has started visiting Sangrur villages.
The retired judge said he had no affiliation with the Congress and was a retired judge who had always worked honestly.
About seeking help from SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal and former CM Parkash Singh Badal in the sacrilege cases, he said the commission had called all people on the basis of evidence.
When asked whether the commission had plans to take legal action against those who were not cooperating with it, he said the commission did not have any such plans yet.
About the Malerkotla Quran sacrilege, he said they would spend all day in Malerkotla on April 25 to investigate the case.
