Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Mohali, Mohali police on Sunday arrested a youth on suspicion of shooting Punjabi singer Parmish Verma from Solan.
The youth arrested is Kulwinder Singh from Baddi’s Gullerwala village.
Parmish Verma and a friend were shot in Mohali on Friday night. Verma, who shot to fame with his song ‘Gaal Nahin Kadni’, was admitted to Fortis Hospital. A bullet hit Verma in his leg, but the singer is believed to be stable.
Gangster Dilpreet Singh “Baba” claimed the shooting in a Facebook post, and said that the singer was lucky to have escaped with his life.
