* Punjab farmers would not face urea shortage
* Inaugurates Adarsh school worth crores in Boha
* Lays foundation stone of road project to be laid at Rs 1 cr.
Mansa, The Union Minister Government of India Mrs Harsimrat Kaur Badal said that everyone bows before the soldiers who have laid their lives safeguarding the country and its due to their contribution that common man is able to live without fear today. She said this while expressing condolences to the family of Naik Jagsir Singh in Boha, who got martyred in Arnia sector of Jammu. The Union Minister first visited the house of former MLA Mr Harbans Singh Datewas to express condolence on sad demise of his elder brother Mr Surjan Singh.
While talking to the media persons she said that Punjab farmers would not face any urea shortage. Government has taken up this issue seriously and asked the urea manufacturing units to produce surplus urea. She added that efforts were being made to bring the farmers towards horticulture and the government gives grants to propagate the same.
On occasion, the Union Minister inaugurated the Adarsh School at Boha constructed at a cost of Rs 5 cr App. and also laid foundation stone of the Rs 1 cr App. road project under which, 4 kms long road is being laid from Boha to Kasampur Chhina. She added that with the construction of Adarsh School the children from nearby villages would be able to get the best of education. She added that with the laying of road children could easily commute to the school and the other commuters too would be immensely benefitted.
