Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, April 13: Akali Dal leader and former minister Bikram Singh Majithia today said Punjab local bodies minister Navjot Singh Sidhu should have resigned after the stand of the state government in the supreme court on his conviction in the death in a road rage involving him.
Majithia said it was strange that actor Salman Khan had been sentenced to five years in jail for killing a black buck while Sidhu was punished with jail term of 3 year in a case of road rage in which an old man died.
it may be mentioned that the Punjab government has concurred with his sentence in the Supreme Court.
He said Sidhu must resign following this stand taken by the government on moral grounds as he himself claims to be moralist.
