3rd person pronounced dead following fatal Mississauga crash

Region of Peel– Investigators from the Major Collision Bureau are investigating a fatal collision that occurred in Mississauga.

On Thursday, October 8, 2020, just after 7:00 a.m., police were contacted to attend Mclaughlin Road and Highway 407 in the City of Mississauga for a two-vehicle collision involving a silver Honda Civic and a red Mercedes Benz.

The Honda Civic was operated by a 21-year-old man from Brampton and had a 23-year-old woman and a 19-year-old woman as passengers. The 19-year-old woman was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Mercedes Benz was being operated by a 66-year-old man from Brampton and had a 39-year-old woman, a 38-year-old man, and a 64-year-old man and woman as passengers. The 64-year-old woman was pronounced deceased at the scene.

All other occupants were taken to the hospital.

On Saturday, October 10, 2020, the 64-year-old male passenger was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

“On behalf of all the men and women of the Peel Regional Police we empathize with the families and friends who lost their loved ones due to this very tragic collision” said Chief Nishan Duraiappah.
