Chandigarh, The vigilance bureau today nabbed a kanungo red handed while accepting bribe of Rs. Ten thousands.
Disclosing this here toady an official spokesperson of the vigilane bureau said that kanungo of revenue department jarnail singh posted at manvian holding additional charge of amaragarh, tehsil Malerkotla, district Sangrur was nabbed on the complaint of Ranjit Singh of village Daun Kalan district Patiala. The complaintant alleged that the kanungo was demanding bribe of Rs. 10,000 for the mutation of his land.
Acting on the tip off, a trap was laid by the vigilance bureau team and the kanungo was nabbed red handed accepting the bribe.
