Buzz about Sidhu Moosewala’s father contesting from Bathinda as Independent candidate
Chandigarh, President Shiromani Akali Dal and Punjab Deputy Chief Minister S. Sukhbir Singh Badal today announced the organizational structure of Shiromani Akali Dal by releasing the names of Senior Vice Presidents, Secretary Generals, General Secretaries, Vice Presidents, Joint Secretaries, District Jathedars, President of party units in other states and president of other wings of party.
Releasing the list of office bearers of party wings, S Badal announced that S. Ranjit Singh Brahmpura, S. Balwinder Singh Bhuder, S. Gurdev Singh Badal, Jathedar Tota Singh, Bibi Jagir Kaur, S. Balwant Singh Ramoowalia and Dr. Upinderjit Kaur would be Senior Vice Presidents of Party.
S. Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa would remain Secretary General of party and Dr. Daljeet Singh Cheema would continue as Secretary of Party as well as Spokesperson for third consecutive term.
S. Bikram Singh Majithia, former President of Youth Akali Dal, would be General Secretary of Party.
As per the list the names of General Secretaries are: S. Maheshinder Singh Grewal, Prof. Prem Singh Chandumajra, S. Nirmal Singh Kahlon, Shri. Naresh Gujral, S.Sewa Singh Sekhwan, S. Avtar Singh Brar, S. Bikram Singh Majithia, S. Janmeja Singh Sekhon, Dr. Ratan Singh Ajnala, S. Sarwan Singh Phillaur and S. Hira Singh Gabria.
The names of Spokespersons are: Dr. Daljeet Singh Cheema, S. Mahesinder Singh Grewal and Prof. Prem Singh Chandumajra while Shri. Naresh Kumar Gujral and S. Manjit Singh GK would be party spokesperson at New Delhi.
Shri N.K. Sharma would continue as Treasurer.
Bibi Jagir Kaur would be President of Women Akali Dal whereas S. Gulzar Singh Ranike, S. Hira Singh Gabria and S. Surinder Singh Pehalwan would continue as presidents of SC Wing, BC Wing and Employees Wing while Sarup Chand Singla would be president of Traders Wing, S. Charan Singh Lohara as Transport Wing.
Mr. Badal also announced that names of office bearers of PAC, Working Committee, Policial Advisors, General Council and other wings would be announced soon. He said that Punjab has been divided into four parts to give strength to Youth Akali Dal and four YAD presidents would be announced and then a State Coordinator would be made. He said that one president would be taken from Majha, one from Doaba and two from Malwa, which has been divided into two parts of 7-7 districts each.
As per the list for other states S. Jagjit Singh Gora Kang would be party president of Chandigarh, S. Manjit Singh GK for Delhi, S.Sharanjit Singh Sotha for Haryana.
