?????????????????????????CHANDIGARH JUNE 22 – Former Chief Minister of Punjab Sardar Parkash Sigh Badal today against the authorities in the Sector 16 for the utterly inhuman treatment being meted out to two AAP legislators who had been admitted following serious injuries inflciuted on them by the watch and ward staff of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha and members of the Punjab Police

Mr Badal was shocked to see that the two legsilators were lying virtually unattended on stretchers even hours after being admitted to the hospital. They were being surrounded only by relatives and supporters. Finding Bibi Sarabjit Kaur Manuke lying almost sub conscious, Mr Badal bent close to her ears and spoke words of fatherly assurance to her. But she obviously was in no condition to hear or respond to his words. At this Mr Badal Said she is my Daughter & lost his customary cool and was heard speaking loudly, ‘You have reduced these poor representatives of the people to this plight. Please give her & her colleagues proper medical treatment now. At least attend to them with human compassion. Is this the inhuman manner in which the authorities treat the hapless victims of their own cruelty?’ He asked

Hearing about Mr Badal’s visit , the DHS Rakesh Kumar came to meet the former CM who was still standing near the stretcher on which AAP legislators was lying in a pitiful plight. Mr Badal asked the DHS to provide ‘immediate and proper treatment to the two legislators. Treat them with human compassion and respect due to every citizen. What is happening here, they are lying in a state of neglect?
The DHS assured the former CM that the hospital authorities were attending to the injured legislator well at which Mr Badal commented, ‘I can see that’.

Mr Badal also wanted to know if the Chief Minister Captain Amaridner Singh or anyone else from the government had come to inquire about the health of the legislators. When told that no one had, he commented,’ Yes, how can they’
