Election commission of India today announced bye election schedule for Gurdaspur Lok Sabha constitency .
Disclosing this here a spokesperson of office of Chief electoral officer Punjab said that notification will be issued in this regard on September 15, 2017 and last date of submission of nomination Papers will be September 22, 2017,
He further said that scrutiny of papers will be done on September 25,2017 and last date for the withdrawal of the nomination Paper is September 27, 2017.
Spokesperson said polling Will be held on October 11,2017 and counting of votes and result will be declared on October 15, 2017.
He said with the announcement of bye election for Gurdaspur Lok Sabha constitency model code of conduct is enforced in Gurdaspur and pathankot district with immdiate effect
