SAD appoints Aujla and Mahajan as Senior Advisors, Public Grievances

Chandigarh, August 17 – The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) today appointed former civil officers – P S Aujla and Ajay Mahajan as Senior Advisors to SAD President Sukhbir Singh Badal for Public Grievances.

Disclosing this, the SAD President’s Media Advisor Jangveer Singh said the party was confident that both officers, who had retired after a glittering career in the Punjab government, would lend value to the SAD in their new role. Both officers have held several responsibilities and have an impeccable record of public inter-face. The officers will assume their new duties immediately and will hold meetings to know about injustices being meted out to the common man besides forming a public redressal forum .

While Mr P S Aujla, an IAS officer, has earlier served as principal secretary to the Deputy chief minister, Punjab, Mr Mahajan has served as special principal secretary to the Deputy CM, Punjab.
