Rana Gurjit’s resignation victory of AAP and people of Punjab-AAP

The Aam Aadmi Party on Thursday hailed the resignation of Cabinet minister Rana Gurjit Singh from Punjab cabinet.

In a joint press release, the president of Aam Aadmi Party Bhagwant Mann, co-president Aman Arora, Deputy Lop Sarabjit Kaur Manuke, MLA Nazar Singh Manshahiya, MLA Jai Kishan Rodi, MLA Master Baldev Singh, Chief Spokesperson Harjot Singh Bains and others stated that the pressure of public and AAP’s commitment to root out corruption resulted in droping of minister Rana Gurjit from Punjab Cabinet.

The leaders said that although the decision is a good move to tame the corrupt leaders but has it come immediately after mining scam issue the state exchequer loot could have avoided. The leaders also criticzed Capt. Amarinder for constituting a bogus commission by spending crores of rupees to save the corrupt minister.

AAP leaders said that now after Rana Gurjit’s resignation from cabinet, other matters including illegally grabbing panchayti land at village Seonk near Mullanpur and Banking fraud also must be investigated. They urged that the centre govt. must also take notice of illegal money transaction cases involving Rana Gurjit and his family as per the law of the land.
