Chandigarh, The Shiroman Akali Dal today lashed out at AAP convener and Delhi CM Mr. Arvind Kejriwal for trying to keep secret his wish to become Punjab Chief Minister and said that Punjabis will not let this happen now as the Cat is out of bag with the announcement of Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Manish Sisodia at Mohali today.In a hard hitting statement released from the party head office here today, the SAD Spokesman and advisor to Punjab Deputy Chief Minister, Mr. Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that with the outburst of Mr. Sisodia it has now become ample clear that Mr. Kejriwal was planning to become Chief Minister of Punjab since long and that was the main reason why he shunted out those leaders from the party who were becoming claimants for the said post. He said that the claim of the suspended party MPs Mr. Dharmvir Gandhi and Harinpal Singh Khalsa have proved right that the Delhi leader was eyeing Punjab for becoming CM. He said that now it will also be worth seeing whether Mr. Bhagwant Mann whose claim to the post was rejected out rightly Mr. Sisodia today will oppose Mr. Kejriwal or bow before him.Mr. Sirsa said that with the statement of Mr. Sisodia it has also once again has been proved that Mr. Kejriwal is an habitual liar who was trying to mislead the Punjabis that the party will give a Punjabi CM if the party comes to power. He said that since long he was announcing that the party will declare CM candidate at an appropriate time but it flatly refused to do so now when the right time has come. He said that Punjabis also understand that when he had announced CM candidate for Goa, why he was not announcing the one for the state of Punjab.Terming it as a deep rooted conspiracy, Mr. Sirsa said that actually Mr. Kejriwal was trying to pay back his own state Haryana by snatching away capital Chandigarh, Punjabi speaking areas as well as completion of SYL project to give water to his own state Haryana. He said that it appears that as a part of this larger conspiracy Mr. Kejriwal was trying to do maximum damage to the sikh community beacuase it was possible that a non sikh leader if becomes CM of Punjab can do the same by exercising his own powers against the community..The SAD leader said that as Mr. Kejriwal was in the habit of betrying, as he betrayed the people of Delhi first time forging an alliance with the Congress for forming the government in Delhi. He again betrayed the people when his rule was over in just 49 days and he sought mandate after seeking apology from the people of Delhi in the fresh elections. He said that this will be third betrayal by this “U Turn man” with the people of Delhi as he had planned to make Mr. Sisodia as Delhi CM and himself was trying to become CM of Punjab.Mr. Sirsa said that the plan of Mr. Kejriwal has been unfolded by none other than his own companion and now Punjabis will take a pledge that they will never let an outsider become the state Chief Minister. He also asked the different leaders of the party to spell their stand in view of the fresh disclosures of Mr. Sisodia that whether they are in agreement to bow before an outsider to become Chief Minister of the state ?
