Chandigarh August 24: The Punjab government has transferred one IPS and six PPS officers with immediate effect.
Disclosing this here today an official spokesman of the government said that Mr. Arun Kumar Mittal IPS DIG Border Range Amritsar has been posted as DIG Training, CPO and assigned additional charge of the post of DIG Border Range Amritsar on administrative grounds.
Mr. Ashish Kapoor, PPS has been appointed as Superintendent Central Jail Amritsar while Mr. Baljit Singh has been posted as SP/ SPU Chandigarh. Mr. Kuljit Singh AIG/ Counter Intelligence Amritsar, Mr. Ajinder Singh SP, Personnel-1 CPO Punjab, Chandigarh, Mr. Rashpal Singh SP ,G.R.P., Amritsar and Mr. Harmit Singh Hundal has been posted as S.P/ Operations Jallandhar (Rural) with immediate effect.
