Chandigarh, July 20: Satnam Singh and Tejinderpal Singh from Dal Khalsa, who had hijacked the first plane associated with the Sikh militant movement in 1981, were today granted bail by a Delhi court in the retrial.
They had been convicted by a Pakistan court and sentenced. They are facing retrial after 36 years and the latest charge is sedition and that too under the FIR relating to hijacking.
Their trial would start fresh from July 31.
