PUNJAB GOVERNMENT TRANFERS ONE IPS, FIVE PPS INCLUDING ONE SP

Chandigarh, June 1: In a major administrative police reshuffle, the Punjab government today issued the transfer/ posting orders of one IPS, 5 PPS including one SP.

Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the Punjab Government said that Alka Meena, IPS posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police/ Headquarter and security Jalandhar, Mr. Rajeshwar Singh Sidhu PPS Supdt. Police/Investigation, Moga, Mr. Kehar Singh PPS, Sudt. of Police/local Moga, Mr. Ashwani Kumar PPS Supdt. Police Phagwara, Mr. Manohar Lal PPS Ass.Commdt, 2nd IRB, Ladha Kothi, Sangrur, Mr. Baldev Singh PPS Asstt. Commdt,9th Bn,PAP,Amritsar and Mr. Mr. Bhupinder Singhj Virk SP posted as Sudt. Jail Patiala.

Spokesman further said that the posting orders of Harjit Singh Pannu, PPS, TP/38 and Mr. Satpal Singh, PPS would be issued later on. Authorities concerned will make internal arrangements for the disposal of the work of the posts falling vacant as a result of this order.
