New Delhi: Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh recently tied knot with Hazel Keech on November 30 at a Gurdwara in Punjab’s Fatehgarh Sahib. The couple has headed towards Goa for their second wedding which will be taking place as per Hindu rituals.
As per various reports, Hazel Keech changed her name and surname before the wedding.
During the rituals, Saint Balvinder Singh was constantly referring Hazel with her new name Gurbasant Kaur. It is known that Yuvraj and his mother Shabnam are followers of Baba Ram Singh and apparently the Sant had suggested the name change.
Earlier, while talking to media, Yuvraj’s mother said, “Hazel has also met our Guru ji a couple of times and she follows him truly and with full dedication, as she understands we cannot question our Guru Ji. We all know how he saved Yuvi from cancer and helped in bringing my boy back to life.”
