People have had enough of sabre rattling by Congress & AAP: Sukhbir Badal

Amritsar, September 26:  The Punjab Deputy Chief Minister, S. Sukhbir Singh Badal today said that the people of Punjab have had enough of the sabre rattling day in and day out by the Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the real face of both these parties has been thoroughly exposed. Terming development as the actual agenda of the SAD-BJP government, he said that the people would give a third consecutive term to the SAD-BJP government owing to the large scale developmental works done by the alliance. He was interacting with the media-persons after paying obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib today morning with his wife and Union Minister Mrs. Harsimrat Kaur Badal.

            Quipping at PPCC President Captain Amarinder Singh sending buses to various constituencies, S. Badal said that now even if Captain takes out truck yatra he is sure to meet his political doom. The Deputy Chief Minister also said that the people would not fall into the trap of congress and it doesn’t matter if Captain undertakes ‘Coffee With Captain’, ‘Halqe Vich Captain’ campaign or launches buses.

On AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal’s visit to dera beas, S. Badal said that now whatever AAP convenor might do his political game is up and the people of Punjab have also have seen through the theatrical antics of AAP. Taking potshots at the fourth front, S. Badal said that as the assembly polls draw near many such fronts would appear but he is fully confident that the people would only give their mandate to SAD-BJP.

The Deputy Chief Minister also reviewed the developmental projects going on in the city and gave necessary instructions to the officials concerned regarding their completion. He said that with the completion of the projects, the holy city would sport a unique look.

Among others present on the occasion were Deputy Commissioner Varun Roojam, Commissioner of Police Amar Singh Chahal, SDM Rohit Gupta, District Urban President of SAD Gurpartap Singh Tikka, Chairman District Planning Committee Veer Singh Lopoke, Executive Committee member SGPC Rajinder Singh Mehta and others.
