German police target China-linked human smuggling gang with raids on homes and businesses
Chandigarh, April 27:
The Tourism and Cultural Affairs Minister, Punjab, S. Navjot Singh Sidhu has expressed profound grief over the demise of Lok Sabha MP and famous actor Vinod Khanna and termed it as a colossal loss not only for Punjab but for the entire nation.
In a statement here today, the Minister said that Mr. Vinod Khanna was like his elder brother from whom he imbibed the clean and honest political values. He further said that Mr. Khanna was in himself an institution of films and was a source of pride for Punjabis. He also divulged that Mr. Khanna was one of those rare gems who made it big in political arena also and served as Lok Sabha 4 times. He also elaborated that Mr. Khanna never forgot his moral duties.
Deeply condoling the demise of Mr. Khanna , the Minister further said that he stands firmly with the bereaved family in their hour of grief and prays to the almighty to give eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to the family to bear the loss.
