Lt. GENERAL SHERGILL APPOINTED AS CHIEF ADVISOR TO CM

Chandigarh, March 21- The Punjab Government today appointed Lieutenant General (Retd.) Mr. Tajinder Singh Shergill PVSM as Senior Advisor to the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh in the rank of Cabinet Minister.

Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the Chief Minister’s Office said that beside Lieutenant General (Retd.) Shergill, Mr. Vimal Sumbly has been appointed as Secretary (Press) to Chief Minister, Captain Sandeep Sandhu, Major Amardeep Singh and Mr. Karanpal Singh Sekhon have been appointed as Political Secretaries to the Chief Minister, while Mr. Khubi Ram (IGP Retd.) has been appointed as his Security Advisor.
