On Monday, the singer helped her elder sister Angela Hudson give birth to her child. Katy wrote on Twitter, “Helped deliver my sister’s baby at 2 pm and I’m in the studio by 8 pm,” beside several baby emojis. “GET A GIRL THAT CAN DO BOTH,” she added.
The pop star documented a similar experience after her sister gave birth to her first child in 2014. “Finally you can add ‘helps delivers babies in living rooms’ to my resume! It’s been a miracle of a day…Auntie Katy aka Stylist Auntie,” Katy tweeted at the time.
