German police target China-linked human smuggling gang with raids on homes and businesses
Facebook-owned photo-sharing app Instagram now boast 700 million users, more than 80 per cent of whom are outside the United States.
The company has added 100 million users since December, when it last announced 600 million active users milestone.
Instagram has quickly eclipsed its archrival Snapchat which has over 161 million active users, after addition of Instagram Stories feature in the app in August.
As of April, over 200 million people used Instagram Stories every day.
The app has grown into one the most popular social media app worldwide and contributes significantly to Facebook’s revenue.
