In connection with the case registered against my husband Sh. Gautam Cheema IPS, Inspector General of Police at Mohali, I am bringing the facts to the notice of media, Since a serious complain is being made through the press to malign my innocent husband by a gang of criminals against whom various cases of fraud and cheating and rape have been registered. This campaign is being fore headed through Krispy Khera against whom large number of cases of cheating and fraud stands pending with Mohali Police, since last year.she added
Irony of the fate is that the Mohali police have not taken any action against her; a list of such complaints pending is enclosed.
This gang of criminals is being supported by an important lobby of officers in I.P.S. Punjab to protect their own skin, to avoid any action against them by the government. If any injustice is done to my husband Sh. Gautam Cheema I.P.S., I may have to disclose some of the names of the I.P.S. lobby, which is supporting the gang of criminals, who have financial interest with the gang.
My husband was specially deputed to Uttarakhand during the tragedy of floods in-order to help rescue our people who were stranded there. Gautam Cheema had to risk his life, living there without food and proper shelter for days together for which the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Punjab issued him a written appreciation letter.
Few months back Sh. Gautam Cheema was promoted IG of Police on the basis of his outstanding service record. It is un-imaginable that such a man is being termed as a criminal by vested interest. I have definite information that the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister and Director General of Police are being kept in the dark by with-holding the true facts.
I may please bring to the notice of the media and public that Mr. Gautam Cheema IPS, belongs to schedule caste, adharmi community and being purposely targeted to spoil his career, so that he is not given an opportunity to sit at the highest seat in the service.
Under this background I am bringing true facts to the notice of the government, media and the public. I have been able to have access to the footage from MAX Hospital, Mohali of the 26th August 2014 on which the case was registered. I am circulating a copy of the same to the press, which is self-explanatory. The fact is that my husband never went to the police station. He was not at any time during that evening accompanied by Ajay Chaudhary as alleged by the police in the F.I.R.
No abduction of Sumedh Gulati took place nor was there any criminal intimidation nor there was any forcible trespass. The case against my husband is fabricated and false. I request the government and the media to ensure preservation of footage in MAX Hospital Mohali.
It is apparent that Mohali Police is working under the dictates of the criminal gang supported by the interested lobby in service. The complainants against Mr. Gautam Cheema filed the first petition before the Hon’ble Punjab and Haryana High Court. Second petition was filed before Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab, which is a subject matter of enquiry, which is being done by the Vigilance Bureau of Punjab. The Vigilance Bureau has been enquiring and Krispy Khera is said to have been given an opportunity to record her statement inn which she included a charge of molestation against my husband, where-as in the original complaint and petition it never contained any molestation charges.
The moment she came to know about the impending arrest of her husband Devinder Gill Thapa on charges of Rape, she started dramatizing that my husband has molested her. Even though the Vigilance Bureau is enquiring into the matter, when Mohali Police came to know that I have obtained the footage of MAX Hospital Mohali, in order to save their skin a fresh case of Molestation has been registered against Mr. Gautam Cheema. Where is the rule of Law in Mohali ?

I humbly request the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Punjab, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab and respected Director General of Punjab to please save my husband from the high – handedness of what is happening in Mohali Police which is working under the total influence of the gang of criminals. The sudden registration pf the fresh Molestation case against my husband on 02nd September 2014 is proof of what I have said above. This very matter is subject matter of enquiry by the Vigilance Bureau of Punjab.
I request the Government to get the matter enquired in both the cases, registered by Mohali Police on the 26th August 2014 and 02nd September 2014 by an officer of the rank of Additional Director General of Punjab or at least an Inspector General of Punjab who is senior to my husband or any other independent agency like Vigilance Bureau of Punjab or the CBI.
The Mohali police is un-necessarily harassing my husband and family.
