Indians Immigrate To Canada In Record Numbers

Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has assured the students of Chintpurni Medical College and Hospital, Pathankot, of all possible steps by the government to safeguard their interests and secure their future.
The chief minister gave the assurance to a delegation of the students of 2014-15 batch, who called on him here on Friday afternoon.
Captain Amarinder directed the Secretary Medical Education and Research to thoroughly examine the entire case and submit his report at the earliest to ensure justice to the affected students, whose careers had been jeopardized by the apathetic attitude of the college management.
He assured the students that his government would sympathetically consider their demand for being accommodated in other medical colleges, if rules permit.
