Gurdaspur, August 30: Aam Aadmi party is most corrupt party with dishonest intentions towards Punjab, such corrupt and anti punjab practices of AAP had been exposed by their own leaders. Punjab Revenue & Public Relations Minister Mr. Bikram Singh Majithia said this here today while interacting with media persons after inaugurating a community centre established with the cost of Rs 32 lakh.
Mr. Majithia said that Delhi Chief Minister Mr. Arvind Kejriwal is planning divide and rule theory in Punjab but the Punjabis are fully aware of his malicious intentions towards Punjab. He said that he will have to face the anger of Punjabis in the coming Vidhan Sabha elections for his such anti Punjab and anit national conspiracies.
The Minister lashing out at Congress said that Congress has always discriminated with the Punjab and when in power Punjab Congress leaders have never taken up any issue of Punjab or Punjabis with the centre. He said that Congress party has lost its base in the country due to its anti people policies and now Punjab Congress’s Maha Yatra in the state will be last Yatra of Congress.
Mr. Majithia said that Punjab Government had sent Rs 13000 Crore Uppar Bari Doab Canal rehablitaion and modernization project to the centre which at the last stages of approval.
Mr. Majithia said that SAD-BJP alliance will form government for the continuous third time in the state on the development agenda. He said thatSAD-BJP Government has provided 2.5 lakh government jobs to the youth of the state, free electricity of about 32000 Crores to the farmers, Free/ cheap electricity to SC/BC classes and various other social welfare schemes for the needy and underprivileged citizens of the state during last nine and half years.
He said that Punjab is the only state in the country providing cheap and 24 hours uninterrupted power supply. He further said that besides this Punjab has created the best 4/6 lane road network and air connectivity.
Mr. Majithia said that Punjab government has uplifted the standard of education by establishing IIT, IIM, Meritorious Schools and other such renowned institutes in the state. He said that in the field of Medical AIMS, Cancer institutes and infrastructure of Government hospitals has been modernized with latest facilities.
Others prominent present on the occasion included Mr. Gurbachan Singh Babehali MLA, Mr. Pardeep Sabharwal Deputy Commissioner, Mr. jasdeep Singh SSP and other prominent leaders of the area.
