Girls again, clinch top three spots in Class X PSEB exams

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today strongly condemned Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) sarpanch for abetting dalit boys’ suicide in Bhai Bakhtaur village in Bathinda district and lambasted SAD leadership for shielding criminals and absorbing them in the party.
Bhagwant Mann AAP Campaign committee chairman in a statement here said that Akali leaders have become law into themselves and indulging in unlawful activities with impunity. The office bearers of SAD were involved in cases ranging from molestation to murder.
Mann said that SAD sarpanch Charanjit Singh had beaten up 15 year old Gurpreet Singh, forced school staff to strike his name from rolls. He said that SAD leaders involved in criminal activities had full backing of SAD President Sukhbir Singh Badal and Youth Akali Dal patron Bikram Singh Majithia. He recalled the incident of slapping of a protesting woman teacher by sarpanch of Daula village in Bathinda district during the sangat darshan programme of SAD MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal. The Sarpanch was arrested under public and media pressure and later he got bail and case didn’t move further.
Mann said that Youth Akali Dal office bearer Ranjit Singh Rana had killed a Assistant Sub Inspector Ravinder Pal Singh in full public view in Amritsar when he tried to protect dignity of his daughter from Akali goons. He said that SAD leader Shiv Lal Doda is another SAD leader who murdered dalit boy Bhim tank in Abohar. He is being patronized by Sukhbir Singh Badal for contesting election as an independent.
Mann said that Yadevinder Singh Yadu Youth Akali Dal president of Khanna circle had allegedly killed a 16 year old boy in cold blood. Preetinder Singh Patiala district Youth Akali Dal President was involved in attempt to murder case. These youth leaders are blue eye boys of revenue minister Bikram Singh Majithia. Police had failed to take action against youth akali dal leaders despite evidence available on record.
Mann said that youth Akali Dal Ludhiana rural president Gurdip Singh Mithu was caught only yesterday by police for possessing 275 bottles of illicit liquor. He said that liquor was meant to influence the voters. He said that Bikram Majithia had recruited hundreds of criminals in the youth wing and Students Organisation of India, a student wing of SAD. He said that members of YAD and SOI are threat to peace and communal harmony in the state.
