AAP, a spent force and has lost the people’s faith – Grewal

People have voted for development agenda of SAD-BJP Government

Chandigarh, Coming down heavily on Aam Admi Party General Secretary and Spokesman of Shiromani Akali Dal Mr. Mahesinder Singh Grewal today said that AAP has completely lost its credibility much faster than PPP as the people of Punjab came to know that they have nothing to offer but anarchy.

In a statement issued here on Thursday, Mr. Grewal said that newly appointed state convener of AAP Mr. Sucha Singh Chottepur has leveled baseless charges against SAD for using muscle power to cover up their own failures as they have no organizational structure and policy for the development of Punjab.

He said that in Lok Sabha polls they have sold dreams of ‘Swaraj” to people but in less than 6 months people have become aware that they are only fighting for plum posts within party and have lust for power.

Mr. Grewal said that newly appointed convener should look into his own credentials since he has been switching over one to another party for to meet his own political ends. He said that initially he was an Akali, after that he became close confident of captain Amrinder Singh. He said that the statement of Chottepur reflects the level of frustration after facing massive defeat in the by-poll but AAP and Chottepur will get nothing from such hollow and baseless statements.

He said that the AAP leader should understand the reality that the people of Punjab have thrown away their party out of political scenario of the state. Mr. Grewal reminded AAP leaders that they should be aware of that their party is a spent force in Punjab.
