What we love the most about this much-awaited flick is the fact that the film is not only about wrestling but is also about women empowerment.
In the trailer, Aamir is seen playing the role of a wrestler, Mahavir Singh Phogat. Well known TV actress, Sakshi Tanwar is seen playing the role of the protagonist Shobha Kaur.
The film is based on Phogat sisters, Babita (Sanya Malhotra) and Geeta (Fatima Sana Shaikh).
The most interesting part of the trailer is when Phogat’s attitude changes towards women. Babita and Geeta both have fetched medals for the country in Commonwealth Games.
The stunts and wrestling moves are look super raw and power-packed.
Some of the sequences in the trailer gave us goosebumps and the dialogues are equally packing the punch.
The movie is to release on December 23.
