14 IAS shifted; new DCs for 2 districts

Chandigarh,  The state government has issued transfer and posting orders of 14 IAS, nine PCS, one IPS and 10 PPS officers. Hoshiarpur and SBS Nagar districts have got new Deputy Commissioners. Punjab has also got a new Director General of School Education.Ravinder Sharma, Chairman, Punjab Pollution Control Board, will be the new SBS Nagar Deputy Commissioner. He will replace Anindita Mitra, who would be Deputy Commissioner, Hoshiarpur, a spokesperson said today.Amit Dhaka, Deputy Commissioner, Hoshiarpur, will be Managing Director, Punjab Small Industries and Export Corporation. Dharamvir has been made Principal Secretary, Defence Services Welfare.GK Singh, Director General of School Education, has been appointed Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana, in place of Pardeep Aggarwal, who will swap the charge with GK Singh.Mandeep Singh Sandhu has been made Financial Commissioner, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Dairy Development. Manpreet Singh Chatwal, Director, State Transport, would take over as Chairman, Punjab State Pollution Control Board. G Vajralingam would hold the charge of Principal Secretary, Elections, Food and Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs as well as Member Secretary, Punjab Social Development & Governance Reforms Commission.Sucha Ram Ladhar, Secretary, Food Processing, would also hold the charge of Mission Director, Food Processing, and Secretary, Punjab State Human Rights Commission. Arun Sekhri is Additional Registrar, Cooperative Societies. Ashwani Kumar, State Transport Commissioner, has been given additional charge of Special Secretary, Transport and Special Principal Secretary to Deputy CM. Malwinder Singh Jaggi would be Director, State Transport. Parveen Kumar Thind has been posted Director, Planning.Among the PCS officers, Harjit Singh Kandhola, Special Secretary, Governance Reforms, gets additional charge of Director, Governance Reforms; Amrit Kaur Gill would be Deputy Excise and Taxation Commissioner, Ludhiana; Neeru Katyal Gupta, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Ludhiana; Munish Kumar, Joint Principal Secretary to Deputy CM, with additional charge of Chief Administrator, Bathinda Development Authority; Inderjit Kaur Kang, SDM, Dera Bassi; Vijay Kumar Syal, SDM, Faridkot, with additional charge of District Transport Officer, Faridkot; Avneet Kaur, Assistant Commissioner (General), Rupnagar, with charge of Assistant Commissioner (Grievances), Rupnagar; Simer Preet, Assistant Commissioner (Grievances), with additional charge of Additional Chief Administrator, Patiala Development Authority; and Damandeep Kaur, Assistant Commissioner (Grievances), Jalandhar, with additional charge of Land Acquisition Officer, PWD (B&R), Jalandhar.Among the police transfers, Naveen Singla (IPS) has been posted DCP, Ludhiana.
